WASHINGTON - U.S. military and intelligence officials have systematically underreported the violence in Iraq in order to suit the Bush administration's policy goals, the bipartisan Iraq Study Group said.

In its report on ways to improve the U.S. approach to stabilizing Iraq, the group recommended Wednesday that the director of national intelligence and the secretary of defense make changes in the collection of data about violence to provide a more accurate picture.

The panel pointed to one day last July when U.S. officials reported 93 attacks or significant acts of violence. "Yet a careful review of the reports for that single day brought to light 1,100 acts of violence," it said.
"The standard for recording attacks acts as a filter to keep events out of reports and databases." It said,

My wife and I have been together for 23 years and have 2 girls and 1 boy. I caught my wife cheating on me with another woman. She said that she has had this feeling before we were married and wanted to feel young again. I can’t get the pictures out of my mind. She say’s that she wants to stay, but I feel that it’s only because of the kids and she doesn’t want the kids to find out about her feelings. Every time I think about it I get angrier and angrier. Sometimes I want to tell her to get out and than I feel so bad that I could be with out her. I just need help letting go of it all so we have a chance of making this work

Maple tree roots are starting to buckle the sidewalk in front of my house. I want to know if I can just cut the roots that go under the sidewalk to stop this without killing the tree. I will go ahead and take the tree down if this is going to kill it anyway. The tree is about 20 years old.

In about 1 year I will have my associate degree in Early Childhood Education. After that I would like to go for some business classes becuase my dream is to open a home daycare center (i know, there are risks, many people say its a bad idea - but on the other hand i know many people who do it and love it. Its something i've wanted to do since childhood).

Anyways, I am currently working at a childcare center ( i have been for 4 years now. I am 20 and I got the job there when i was 16)

There are a few things going downhill with my place of work. The overall environment is becomming unpleasing and sometimes I even find myself leaving in tears becuase of other co-workers (all of my co-workers becides one adore me. This ONE however is a new male that we just hired who wants to be in charge of everything.)

Because I just got a good raise, I want to stay with my current job for another year.

OK so if it matters to any of you I'm Wiccan...but anyway....
what reasonings does anyone have for not believing in magick? though from a christian viewpoint it would probably be said that taking the highest authority and belief away from 'god' is a 'sin' (how convinient for him, huh?) but then...do you pray?
prayer is spell. magic and spellcasting can be broadly defined as "the act of effecting the outcome of something through will." and when you're praying do you not believe that you will make a difference in doing so? the biggest difference would be that if you're Wiccan you also believe that power is in you and in everytihng, instead of *just* god but really it's about the same in some ways.

aslo is it so hard to believe there are things we don't know about yet?
had you produced a lighter from your pocket some time ago you would have been thought to be a witch. isn't it credible than to say some of the things people tend to disregard are thrown aside too carelessly?

How much problem do you have with the satellite reception going out?

We had satellite about five years ago, but went back to cable because during really bad storms our system would go down.

We were told there was nothing that could be done about it because of the storm causing the system to not recieve the signal.

Are systems now better and go out for this cause less frequently?

I met this girl 5 months ago. It was a very crazy relationship how it started but Im not gonna go trought this. She is 11 months older then me, and its crazy, how she acts. She tells me I love you, and she doesnt hide it. But now she is in onother state for a vacation, and when we talk most of the times she says I dont have time, Ill call you back, and she calls me back in 3-4-5 hrs, actually I call her. She makes me feel like its my fault. I changed my number, I try not to call her and I told her many times its over because of her mistakes with guys, but she always try to come back. I really love her, but I dont know what to do.. Please help
