I know all mothers are special but considering that I am posting in YAP, I specifically said Filipina Mothers. Its my one way only of saying Happy Mothers Day to them.

i am a filipino but with a quarter cebuano heritage and three fourths chinese. the strongest influence would be my mother and her strongest influence would be from her mother again. i would equate filipina motherhood to a bamboo. pliant enough to go with the wind of a storm. and rooted enough to stand firm.

they're truly loving and will selflessly give up their own happiness for the sake of their kids.
it's a different kind of love... it's more self sacrificing and can just move mountains...

why do people overgeneralize their own nations people in a positive light? that would be like me asking "why are canadian mothers so special?"....but i do understand that mother's day is here and your sentiments stand out with the theme......
