I was diagnosed with GD when I was pregnant with my daughter. I am now pregnant again and I have to go today and take that horrible test. (which I know I am going to fail) Is there anyway that I can lower my blood sugar so I don't fail the 3 hour test? I know that cinnamon lowers sugar but is there anything else that you know of?

I mean, yes they can be taken out, but isn't that taking your constitutional rights away. It's a type of freedom. Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness...etc. You can't tell someone that is gay they cant be gay if they want to work here. And don't say, well you can't just stop being gay. because if i pay damned money to get my lip pierced, i shouldnt have to take it out because someone doesnt like the way it looks. That is disciminatory and is just as bad as not hiring someone that looks different.

i currently have 2 chihuahua/dachsund dogs, one female 2yrs the other male 1 year, and i am thinking about getting another dog probably a bigger breed. my 2 year old loves playing w/bigger dogs but my 1 year old doesn't like any other dogs but i'm sure he'll get used to it. is having more than 2 dogs a bad idea?

My 17 month old pug vomits in the mornings. He doesn't throw anything up besides what looks like stomach acid that is a little yellow or brown..He was on medicince for an immune defficency called generalized mange, but the vet told us it was cleared up. When he would come off of it before, he would be sick, but its been months since he's had the medicine and the vomiting is only recently started. He is in good spirits, is eating, drinking and playing as much as he normally does...just wondering if maybe it could be the heat or change in the weather. The vet is soooo expensive and whenever I go, they always rip me off because they do things without asking me that arent necessary, such as charging me money for one drop they put in his eye to show me where a scratch was..(I was not happy with that!) Any thoughts or opinons are appreciated! Thanks

My husband and I are looking at possibly starting a family next year. We're not wealthy, by any means. I'd really like to be a stay at home mom. My husband is supportive of this, if we can find a way to make it work. (I plan on going back to work part to full time once our future child enters kindergarden).

I'm currently about 1/4 through my college degree, and will continue to take night classes once we have a child (The way we're planning, I'll be about 1/2 way through college when they are born). For clarification, I am almost in my mid twenties, not fresh out of high school. :) My husband works days, so he can be home with our future child in the evenings when I am at class.

To the stay at home moms who did it on a budget- how did you do it? Any good tips/ideas? What worked for you? How hard was it? (I don't want to spend each month worrying if we're going to be able to pay the water bill).

ok my daughtor is 3 and she is almost fully potty trained, she poops and pees in the toilet, but she sometimes has accidents. now my question is how do i get her to keep her clothes on. I will dress her in shorts and a shirt, and a minute later she comes out butt naked. We go through this all day long. I tell her big girls keep their clothes on, and after a while if she doesnt listen she goes to time out. But she still takes all her clothes off. Any tips on how to get her to keep her clothes on at all times. I ask only people with kids answer this question. thanks.

I'd really like some advice on what dog vaccinations are necessary and most important. i know vets have this information but they also tend to suggestion every medicine out there because that means more $$ spent. i know a rabies shot is important. but do dogs really need all those other shots like distemper, parainfluenza, parvovirus, bordetella, and lyme?? my dog is mostly an indoor dog so is it necessary for her to get all those shots? thanks!

p.s i got a sample of advantage multi from the vet. it is a topical medicine that protects against heartworms, fleas, worms, mites, and mange. so would that, combined with a rabies shot, be ok for my pomeranian?
