Any tips for starting potty training?

My son is 17 months old, and I'm ready to start potty training. I don't want it to be hard on him or me, but I would like to have him pretty much potty trained by the time he is 2. I've heard boys are harder to get potty trained, which also makes me want to start now. I put him on the potty before he gets in the bath, and I flush the toilet to help him pee, and associate the feeling of having to pee with the toilet. I noticed that he would always pee within the first few minutes of being in the tub, and I've heard that the sound of water makes children have to pee, which is why I flush. Is there anything else that I can do to help make this a postive experience for him, and a non-stressful experience for me?

so this is marriage? I don't like it?

I've been married for 3 months now. I hate it. My husband and I don't even talk to each other, and sex is every 2 weeks or so. He doesnt even know I'm upset when I try to talk to him he turns it around and doesn't listen. This is not how I want my marriage to be.

Since we got back from our honeymoon it's like we don't even like each other... So far, marriage is dumb and I hate it.

Buying and installing an electric cooker - just a replacement for existing electric cooker?

Are the new regulations that need tobe follwed. My father went tobuy a cooker this week and the man at comet told him some new regulations have come in which means if the wiring isn't right when they turn up they won't be able to install. The exisiting cooker is wired into the Cooker socket - not by plug etc. is it not just a case of taking one cooker out and replacing with new cooker? Can anyone confirm?

16 and my gf is having my child, she lives in Missouri, i was wondering if i could move in with her and my kid

according to missouri law i can move in with her, but i am not sure if it is allowed by kansas law, and i can not locate a lawyer close to me, i live in Thayer, 30 min from indipendence, so if you know a lawyer near my location, that would help out also. i was mainly wondering this because i believe my mother well hinder my ability to be a good father, and i could get a job and finnish school their, but i don't want any trouble with the law. i thank anyone who decides to andswer my question, and hope i get some good help, because i realy want to be a good father, i grew up without one and i don't want my child to go threw the same thing. it is very important to me that i am a good father, so please help me out.

My boyfriend's dad is retired from the millitary?

Does it depend on how long you've been in the millitary before you get benefits
He has to go to the dentist to get his teeth fix.
he claims that millitary would not pay for it.
He's been there for about 5 years
He even gets a VA check.
So shouldn't he see a dentist on base
Wouldn't the millitary give him a percentage to pay regardless of how long he was in the millitary
