Johnny on the spot - arrived quickly and on time.

John Thomas - euphemism for a man's most male member. (Also known as a man's "Johnny" or his "Johnson")

John Hancock - A person's signature.

John Law - a nickname for a police officer.

John Smith - a name people use when they mean to disguise themselves. Used usually when a couple is checking into a hotel.

Dear John - name given to a letter or note which breaks off a relationship. "Dear John Letter"

John Doe - name given to an unknown male (when the unknown is female they use Jane Doe)

and it's not MEET the john where I come from. It's USE the john.
