My best friend's little sister has a little boy a little over a year old. She's a young girl herself; 16. The other day I went to their house to pick up my friend and while I was waiting for her to get ready I went to her sisters room to chat, and saw her giving her little boy a small piece of a pill at least thats what it looked like, I asked her what it was and she told me it was melatonin but a small dose; I asked her what it was for and she said for him to get sleepy so she can go out and he wont wake up her mom, so she can stay out longer... WTF?!?!?! So I talked to my sis about it and she says to talk to her about the dangers of possibly killing her son... I talked to my mom about it and she says report her to DCF (children & families) I havent told my best friend because I dont know what to say to her and don't want to approach such a serious subject the wrong way... something needs to be done... will it hurt the baby if I wait to get my plan going? HELP! WHAT DO I DO??

This is a divorce situation.
My daughter's father keeps traveling thousands of miles away from where he says he is going to be while with my daughter. I never know where they will be. Last time he was going to be in Nevada and ended up in Texas. Now he is saying that he wants to travel to different countries too! He never informs me of where he is with her. What can I do?

Every once in a while I will get an e-mail that basically says, lets stick it to the oil companies, or take a walk on the green side, don't buy gas next Tuesday (or what ever day). How can not buying gas on any given day accomplish either of the previously mentioned goals when gas is still being consumed? Don't you think it would be better to have a walk to work day, ride your bike to work day, car-pool day, or take a bus to work day, so less gas is being consumed?

Once the allies had secured the beaches and moved in after D-Day, was there any way possible for Nazi Germany to still win? I mostly ask this question, because even though from all the books I've read the answer seems to be 'no', I don't like that the history of warfare is often presented as something that had to be carried out; that there was no true threat, because victory will always go to those who 'are true' to the good cause. Do you know what I mean? The way its taught in high school, I remember, was these Germans went and picked a fight and it was only a matter of time before the big bad Allies came in and whomped them. But there was a REAL threat. If Hitler hadn't been stupid, he would have taken over. So, again, thats why I ask this question: Was it possible for Nazi Germany to turn the war back in their favor after the success of The Battle of Normandy?

A girl who looks confident wasn't approached because she looked too intimidating, so someone told her to stop being intimidating and should just relax and be herself cause no one would approach her if she has that "confident" attitude. So she toned herself down and let her guard down and just be nice and happy and people are saying she looks "needy" and "desperate" and not confident enough? She can't win either way! So which is it?!
