Simply put - if you seek first the Kingdom of God, then all else shall be added to you.
Sure there are some very non-religious people that are successful. And there are plenty of righteous people that are poor. But that is usually measured by wealth, or worldly objects.
I would argue that a person that puts God first, and acknowledges His hand in everything, then during the tough times, they have a partner, a place to turn, for support.
When a rich man that thinks he did it all on his own - when things go bad for him, he has nothing. He's on his own.

Self-important automatons! what about the faithfull that have NOTHING? Using religion as a reason to justify success is wrong and against most religions that I have studied. What makes your faith better than the poor starving child in some 3rd world country praying for a bowl of rice?

When you love someone as much as I love Jesus, I have no problem acknowledging that everything I have was a gift from God. Including the breathe a am taking and the energy to type these words right now!! God is bigger than anything you know of and cares for and provide for us all the little things that sometimes seems so silly!

Because every good and perfect thing comes from above (scripture from the bible), and Christians believe that the bible is the word of God. He says, commit all your ways to me and I will give you the desires of your heart. He says, seek first my kingdom and my righteousness, and all things will be added to you.
God never promises what He does not perform.

Cause when you believe in something more powerfull than we are, faith guides you through. And when you ask for guideness, you believe enough to have everything work arounf you. Even though there is faith not everything works out great though. Even with faith there are thing that dont work out.

Because when a person chooses to become spiritual/religious thourgh Christ, they have accepted the fact that God is in complete charge of their life. not only because He is their creator and king, but also because part of being a christian is asking god to come in and take control of your life.
so we believe that because its almost part of the "criteria" of being a christian. its not just having the hope, but the knowledge that what you belive and follow is real

Because it is the only thing left when intelligence fails to address their needs. Without faith, they are like crying babies - lost and helpless. Faith is good when taken in moderation.

I think my hard work gets me places.
But when I'm down, I know I always have God. That lifts me up. Which then helps me get back on track.
So I don't owe all my success to God. A great deal of it, however.
