You don't really know anything of the kind.
What makes you think you're going to die? That each day brings you closer to some end of your life? Just because everyone who has already died is dead? That's pretty specious reasoning, you know.
Nobody really knows what tomorrow will bring. It's not like there aren't thousands of people actively working to halt aging, cure all diseases, and otherwise stop and avoid just about every possible cause of death. Maybe tomorrow they'll find it. Or maybe they won't.
By the time you really do KNOW you're going to die, it's will be too late to do anything about it. So stop worrying about pointless hypothetical situations. Focus on the real instead of the imagined.
Peace.

My husband died of colon cancer - 4 yrs ago this month. While he was in the hosp, just before he died - he said 3 words - and it was I am dying - so I think you know when your body is shutting down. They had given him 3 yrs or more, he didn't last 6 months and 5 days.
If you reading this have not had a colonoscopy, and are 50 or more, male or female, you need this done. It is the most PREVENTABLE death there is!
He was ready, that and plus he said we had a good life, is a comfort to me. I miss him dearly, and did the funeral the way that he wanted. I also put the 'tribute' of his funeral upon the web at (he didn't want any funeral director handling his body)

People think allot about death, and they should - the worst fear I think we have seen - "IS anyone going to miss them?"
And, hell is real - people have alot to fear if they don't believe that.

Well I don't find the word death scary, but I find what death is scary.
I actually fear death, for myself and the ones I love.
I know I just have to remember it's going to happen to everyone at sometime and when it's going to happen, it's going to happen and there's nothing I can do to stop it...
I also know I shouldnt think about death so much, but I can't help it, it's sort of like I'm obsessed with the thought of death...
Sometimes I do find the thought of my death comforting, like a way out because I like to think that after death you're much safer than you are on earth.

Death has attached to it so many negative connotations i'd like to change the name to something else.
Lets just call it post-life. If our laws on energy are correct then nothing can be created nor destroyed. This means that at the end of our existence in our current state (post-life) we simply change into a new form of energy.
I personally attribute a positive connotation to this because it means that I will be changing into something completely new!
This does not take away from the fact that I am living right now in my present state which I enjoy very much.
Hope it helps

I embrace my death with optimism.
If the day has fallen today, or the next second, i will be ready. I have no regrets in my life, i dont feel scary, discomfort, or anything if i just go.
I feel actually i am ready. We are ready, it's only that we cannt let go of something that holds us back in our minds.
Cheers

Death is such a powerful thing. Its the one of the only things that everything living in this world will have to experience. I mean there's no running from it. Everyones running through life and one day their going to wake up and their mothers gone, father, brother and friends. You have to tell people how much you love them everyday cause it might be the last...

death in just the begining of the after life, what we do now will determen what will hapen later.. its just somthing to pass into the next life with. yes it will be painful but in the first book of the bible it tells you why we die and why we fell pain, all leading back to sin. its a deep word but the action is so much worse.

It is sad to know that one day we will die, and we wont be there with the ones we love most, I think it's even harder when you have children, I have a daughter and I dont even want to think I wont be there for her my whole life, I hate to think that I will die and dont know when or where, and all I know is that when I die I want to see her smile, I want to take that with me, her image. That is the only way I can rest in peace.

Life is meant to be enjoyed. We must live it to the fullest and pursue our own pleasures. To me, once I feel my time is up, and I can no longer continue on the path of life, I will welcome death. It is merely the final step of life.
