Ok, I'll be taking my dog to the vets as soon as my hubby can get home (I dont drive), but was hoping someone here could give me an idea of what might be wrong. We picked bailey (our dog) up from the boarding kennels he's been in since Friday this morning and was told he had been 'coughing up bits' as if you'd had a nosebleed sorta thing. Well since getting him home he's come running into me with bright red blood smeared up the side of his face. He hadnt coughed, it had been brought up silently, there was still blood on his tongue at the back and gums when I looked. Although now there is no sign of any damage to inside his mouth so I can only assume he's bringing up the blood rather than bleeding from the mouth.
What can cause this, I'm really worried.
Any ideas?

I am 12 weeks pregnant now, and my boyfriend has made it quite clear that he does not want us to have intercourse for the rest of the pregnancy. He said it is psychological, and went on about hurting the baby etc, even though I have showed him countless articles/books which state that sex in pregnancy is fine. Despite my best efforts (!) I just cant get him to change the way he feels, and although I feel closer to him, as we are having this baby together, I also feel frustrated and confused as to why he feels like this. I cant go the on the next 6 months like this!! :) Has anybody else had a similar problem?

For all of us who feel
only the deepest love and affection for the way computers have enhanced our
lives, read on.

At a recent computer expo (COMDEX), Bill
Gates reportedly compared the computer industry with the auto industry and
stated, "If GM had kept up with technology like the computer industry has,
we would all be driving $25.00 cars that got 1,000 miles to the gallon."

In response to Bill's comments, General
Motors issued a press release stating: If GM had developed technology
like Microsoft, we would all be driving cars with the following characteristics
(and I just love this part):

1. For no reason whatsoever, your car
would crash........

Twice a day.

2. Every time they repainted the lines in
the road, you would have to buy a new car.

3. Occasionally your car would die on the
freeway for no reason. You would have to pull to the side of the road, close
all of the windows, shut off the car, restart it, and reopen the windows before
you could continue. For some reason you would simply accept this.

4. Occasionally, executing a maneuver
such as a left turn would cause your car to shut down and refuse to restart, in
which case you would have to reinstall the engine.

5. Macintosh would make a car that was
powered by the sun, was reliable, five times as fast and twice as easy to drive
- but would run on only five percent of the roads.

6. The oil, water temperature, and
alternator warning lights would all be replaced by a single "This Car Has
Performed An Illegal Operation" warning light.

I love the next one!!!

7. The airbag system would ask "Are
you sure?" before deploying.

8. Occasionally, for no reason
whatsoever, your car would lock you out and refuse to let you in until you
simultaneously lifted the door handle, turned the key and grabbed hold of the radio antenna.

9. Every time a new car was introduced,
car buyers would have to learn how to drive all over again because none of the
controls would operate in the same manner as the old car.

10. You'd have to press the
"Start" button to turn the engine off.

Please share this with your friends who
love - but sometimes hate - their computer.

First off, I discourage abortion and think it should be an option of last resort and only made with very serious consideration.

Many people arguing against abortion do so on a religious contention that the soul is formed at conception or sometime soon thereafter. FOR THE SAKE OF THIS ARGUMENT WE WILL ASSUME THIS TO BE TRUE.

Terminating a pregnancy would release the soul from the embryo which surly god wouldn't deny entrance into heaven. Even taking the original sin concept literally, it would not apply in this case as man is BORN with original sin and no birth occurred here. This soul would in essence be a purly innocent angel.

If I were a religious person I wouldn't see this as all that bad of a situation. In fact it almost seems preferable to living a physical life of potential pain and suffering. Wouldn't the religious argument against abortion be much stronger if they claimed the soul was joined to the body at birth?

Let's be real. The Bush Junta is borrowing billions to pay for this war in Iraq. 'We the People' are going to have to pay it back with interest. What's wrong with paying for it up front?

so why do some people (liberals) try to act like he wasn't?

Joe McCarthy was right, but by now his name has been turned into a dirty word by the same liberal, leftist propaganda machine that today is trying to convince Americans the President “lied” to them about Iraq.

The Venona files revealed that the commies had over 250 spies within the US including at such agencies as the Department of State.
