I know Rube Marquard has the record for winning 19 straight to start the 1912 season, but that includes some no-decisions.

I've been trying to figure this one out, but I can't find a definitive answer.

Hubbell, of the N.Y. Giants, won 24 straight games between July 17, 1936 and May 27, 1937. (16 in '36, 8 in '37).
