I spoke to IRS and HSBC Bank where deposit was issured through, both say IRS dep. $$ into my friend's acct. on 3/27/07, and my 'friend' told me a month ago, the bank screwed up, three wks ago it was "The IRS kept it & applied to fiancee's back tax acct., last week she gave me a check on Tue. for 10% of total amt. she owes me, asking that I not cash it til Fri. of that wk. This is Tue. and IRS & HSBC tell me the refund was approved & tax refund was infact deposited into my 'friend's' acct. Is there any type of legal actions that I can pursue, if so, what? Where should one start in a matter of this nature? A lawyer, the D.A. of my County? What kind of legal matter (civil or criminal) does this fall under? I am looking to press the most, & hardest criminal charges against the two, as I feel this is larcency, theft, & down right deceat!!!

Our legal system is too passive. I say if someone drinks and drives, especially being a public figure, and then disregards their probation, they need to be locked up for much more than 45 days. It's no wonder there are so many twisted minded fools in our country. We get away with too many privileges, which I'm happy for, but dude if you break the law you must face the consequences. She should be locked up for like a year. Anyone else agree?

i met the father of my kid 6 yrs ago. after a year we moved to the same house. we have a 4-year old kid now. we have ups and downs but we manage to get through with it. We are happy together. He loves me so much and plans to marry me when he comes home from abroad. However, i am not very much sure of my feelings now. I love him but my feelings for him is not strong as before. I cannot say "I do" yet. I've had this feeling since last year although there is no third party involved. Now I am falling in love with another man although I do not know if this new guy shares the same feelings with me. I met him last March and we've been friends since then. I do not know what to do. I do not know if I have a future with this guy and even if I do I am worried about my kid and his father who loves me so much. I hate this feeling i have. what will you do if you were in my shoes? please help!

What does religion have to do with taxes?
