My name is Franchesca Nicole. I like it but ever since is was little my nickname had been Frannie. I hate it. It ryhms with fanny and granny but everyone knows me by it. How do I get rid of it and what are some other nicknames for it?

you get rid of it by introducing yourself to new people by that name. then you tell everyone else to give it a rest. call you by something else. except people that have known you as frannie all your life... they'll always think of you as little frannie. not much you can do about that.
edit: i like frankie, too. sk8.2.death's got something there.

I think that your name is beautiful and Frannie is a cute nickname. If you really hate being called Frannie, tell your family and friends that you would prefer being called Franchesca. And, we you meet new people, tell them that your name is Franchesca and that is what they will call you
Who cares if Franny rhymes with fanny and granny? Silly or immature people might call you that, but if you show them it doesn't bother you, they will eventually stop.

I think Fran and Frankie are better nicknames for Franchesca than Frannie. Just ask everybody to call you one of these instead and soon they all will! ;) Or if you don't like these either, ask everybody to start calling you Nicole instead.

Frannie is not too bad.... Better than mine: Rufus... Don't know how I got that or who actually started it because my first and middle name is David Kennedy... But if you figure out how to get rid of yours let me know... Good luck...

i have no idea, my name is Stevie and when i met my boyfriends Army friend he called me Steve or Steveo n it's stuck so now everyone calls me that, n it's a boys name but i don't care! but if ppl make fun of you tell em to go to hell!
