In almost all big screen films and several programs/documentaries there is a "polished" look to the type of filming quality, where the lighting is more low and the movement of everything seems to be more slow and very 'under control', unlike filming in home movies, or with the use of a regular camcorder.
Is it the type of camera that achieves this 'polished' effect or is it the editing program used? My friend mentioned that it was the camera...with the use of a 3colour card. I'm not sure what this is and would like second or other opinions. Please be quite clarifying in ur response because I would really like to know about this in detail. Thank u in advance.

Personally, I think that being bilingual is only an asset when it presents itself in that matter. For instance, in El Paso, TX, where I currently reside, it can be considered an asset because of the large presence of Hispanics.
However, it is extremely possible to be successful here without being bilingual because, as is the case all over the USA, most people do speak English.
I think that in the educational field (where I am a teacher) it can be an assett to be bilingual in EP because it is quite a nuisance trying to explain grades to parents who dont speak English.

In an area such as Atlanta, GA (and it's surrounding areas), it's not an asset being blinigual because most of the residents there fluently speak English (although there is a growing Hispanic population).
The only possible benefit to being bilingual there is when interpretation is needed in say court or something like that (I'm sure there are others, but thats all I could think of right now).

What do you think?

I am frustrated. I come to this forum to see if I can help with answers. Instead I see mostly people bashing each other in a very offensive way. Why not show respect? Why not ask legitimate questions? Why not try understanding? Why not accept peoples differences? Why not try to convince them of your view in a respectful way.

I have been working at this place for about a year. I started as customer service and then they moved me to programming after they found out I am a computer science major. I haven't really been looking for jobs elsewhere due to being busy with school and work. Is this a good amount? I live in the midwest.

first i have to say they were both drunk and over for the De La hoya fight...but these 2 guys are 23 & 24 and made fun of my 13 yr old son for having his hair a little longer then what they think guys should have it. My son is a skater and likes his hair long...he keeps it clean and combed and looks really nice with it long. But they wouldn't stop teasing him...it was little at first but then they started saying he was gay and i could tell my son was upset ...and thats when I went NUTS!! I yelled at them and said get out of my house! and they left.but the next day neither one of them even attempted to come and say SORRY!!! so my question is should i IGNOR them and never invite them over again? Maybe keep a Grudge for awhile to make them realize that it WASN'T right to tease?

These 2 guys have alot of NERVE too! ones an ex Heroin Addict and the other is a big time Drug dealer that acts like hes NOT!!! They both have kids that might experience the same verbal abuse they gave my son!!
