There are some after-market decks that have two yellow wires and one red wire. If yours is like this, then both the yellow wires are meant to be connected to constant power; they can be wired together. The red wire is the one meant for ignition power, and it should be connected to a key-switched power source, not tied in with the yellow wires.
I've never seen an after-market head unit where both the ignition and accessory power wires were yellow.

The one yellow wire that is usually red is the one that goes to the ignition (switched) and the yellow (memory) wire goes straight to the battery to retain programming so if you wire them together you will either not be able to turn your stereo off or you'll lose all the programming every time the ignition is turned off.

You REALLY should follow the installation instructions for your sterio. Probably and I say probably you should NOT do this. One is to power the unit and maintain memory. This direct to battery. The other is to bring on the lights and turn on the amp or other ONLY with ignition. Wired together and the unit could stay on all the time.
I am NOT looking at your unit, but generally follow their instructions.
Good Luck,

YELLOW NEEDS TO BE PLUG IN TO CONSTANT POWER A WIRE THAT WHEN YOU REMOVE THE KEY THERE IS STILL POWER or take it to the battery
the red wire needs to be to the ignition there is only power when the key is on good luck

yes but you will need to turn the radio on and off manualy. it does become bothersome after
a couple weeks. but it is ok if you want to listen to the radio with the keys out of the ignition

you employ both at the same time as setting up a automobile stereo. For setting up aftermarket CD gamers, those are the colors on the units harness: 12+ consistent is the yellow cord . 12+ switched is the pink cord. floor is the black cord.
