Female circumcision is done in some middle eastern and african countries, usually b/c the culture thinks it keeps a woman faithful, or that just because shes female her sex organs need to be destroyed. It usually involves removing the inner and outer labia and the clitoris...making her highly suceptible to infection, if not worse.

Yes and it's commonly called female genital mutilation. A procedure carried out by backward people, people who think women are property, people who should be shot.
