Hey guys, my old laptop's motherboard got fried, but I'm fairly certain the monitor still works. I was able to salvage the hard drive, but I have no idea how to separate the laptop screen from the body, let alone wire it up to where it'll work with my current laptop. Please help me out with some tips or give me some good links where I can research this stuff!! ^__^ thanks!

Ok, oil is expensive enough (and show's no sign of dropping) to make it financially viable to ramp up oil extraction from the 'oil sands' in Canada (they are already our largest single source of crude oil already). Why not shift our efforts away from the middle east and towards Canada. If U.S oil companies can show there is another viable source for crude supplies and threaten to pull out of that part of the world, you just watch how fast the governments in that area exterminate terrorist and militia groups. Agreed? Pie in the sky, I know.

see,the admission to U is only in July & I`ve gone to an interview today & I got a job but unfortunately, i don`t have a car, so therefore need to depend on my father to transport me here & there. When I accept the job already, he said he can`t because the place`s just too far away.

This always happens. I got a job, the time`s not right & my dad can`t bring me there.. so , I`ve stayed at home for God knows how long..from December to now & I`m getting sick of it. All my friend has a job except for me...

Am I a failure for not having a job????

Just went through a separation with my wife. We met through friends. It's now been 7 months since everything went down. It was my fault and have made that known to our friends. We sat down one day with our friends and discussed what happened and how we are going to fix it. She moved out two days later. She has sinced stopped talking to her friends. I still care for her. I am used to dating jerks and people who make moves a little bit faster.
This man does not. We go out, eat,drink,watch movies. Even at his home, he is not the guy that is all over me. And, yep its driving me crazy.
I think he likes me because we go out and we are flirty, but he has not held my hand or made a move? And I am confused by this. I think I see it as him taking it slow and getting to know me, is this the more mature thing to do? And I am I right at assuming?
Am I reading him wrong?
I like him so far, just waiting for him to do something dumb. Or do you think he thinks of me only as a friend?

I am applying for my gun permit to carry concealed weapon ( I work late hours) anyhow I am looking for a good handgun. I have lots of experience with rifles and shotguns; grew up hunting with my grandpa and uncle. But not handguns; I have no preference whether revolver or pistol. Just not to heavy, easy to clean and maintain, load and unload. I want stopping power but dont want a kick (bad). any help or advice would be appreciated? Why is it people can't use their freedom of speech. You can't say anything these days without fear of being fired from work or being bullied by a group of people who don't agree with you.

The rhetoric from the pro side is flawed, but I truly think they do not know it. I think they blind themselves to the holes in their arguments and try to silence the people who point them out by crying racism. I am actually in favor of comprehensive immigration reform, or amnesty, as some call it, but more and more, I am in favor of very strict penalties and rules so that we stop this pattern of coddling these people and shake some sense into them. They are showing us that they have no respect for us. The arrogance of their demands is overwhelming. It is going to take more than deportations to get them to understand. When they have to start paying taxes, fines, learn English, and wait years, then perhaps they will learn some respect. The same as you woud do with a spoiled rotten child.

As you all know from the recent finance news that ABN Amro is going to sell its assets to either Barclays or Royal Bank of Scotland.
In addition, they are also thinking about selling their La Salle Bank Division to Bank of America or not.
With all this in mind, I am sure once the merger completes, there will be layoffs and job cuts.

My dilemma is that I have recently accepted a position with ABNAMRO and now there are merger talks.
I do have another offer from another company but it is a contract job ( 1 year).

I am not able to figure out what to do since I see ABNAMRO hiring more and more employees every single day.

i've been dating this guy for about 2 months now and i really like and he really likes me but, we are both very busy! Every week day i only see him for about 5 minutes and thats when he is walking me to one of my classes, n then later in the night after we get done with our practices/games we talk on the phone for awhile. so normally the only time that we have one on one time is on the week end but last weekend i saw 1 day and we weren't even alone n then this weekend im going to his game and then have to leave right away cause i have to work, and maybe if we are luck we hang out alil on sunday. I don't know what to do we are both so busy but i really do like him and miss him so what should i do? Do you think this will last?
