I need help on a project at school if you could help that would be great!

Ptolemy , Copernicus and Galileo were instrumental in developing the theory and then the proof that that the earth rotated around the sun and not vice verse. Each of these three have craters named for them on the moon.

Many craters on the Moon are named after famous scientists. It is just how we choose to name craters.

He was great at astronomy. He brought back the idea that the sun was the center of the solar system and not the earth. Do a search on him.
