Since my parents died, I have moved a lot of there "IMPORTANT" stuff (mostly collectable items that they gathered when they where alive) into the attic.
Last night when I came home from work (3 am-ish) When I passed by the attic cover (The cover is in my hallway) The cover began vibrating and then just left. Scared the crap out of me!! Right now I have no cover...its somewhere in the attic, and im waiting for daylight (and a person with me) before I go find the cover and put it back.
Have you people ever had Ghost type things like happen?

In college, I just had the most unusual conversation with a guy I hardly even know. He came up to me and asked if I had a copy of Command & Conquer 3, and I said yes. He asked if I play it online, I said no.

Then he bluntly dropped the bomb: He wanted my game serial number, so he could play online. Apparently, he has an illegal copy of the game, and wants to use my key to stick to it.

As I said, I don't know this guy. I only saw him a couple times in the last two semesters, walking around campus. He asked for my cell phone number so he could call me and take my serial number via phone.

What do you think of this short story, and what should happen next?

I need help with a problem I am having. For the last couple of months my computer has been having a reoccurring problem after I system restore it cause of this problem. It seem when I launch firefox or explore it wants to freeze up when I surf or type in forums like I am right now. Its like a 5 second freeze. It always happens when I click on any thing to do with he net.Usually when I system restore it to factory condition cause of this problem it only takes like 3 weeks to come back. this last time it only took like 3 or 4 days. I really need to know whats going on ,anyone got a clue cause i don't,

I'm popular and get really good grades. I usually get the best grades in class. But when I get a bad grade everyone tells me "OMG I got better than you!" or when I tell them how much I got they tell me "Are you serious? This should be mentioned in the record book!" or something like that... So what is a good comeback that will mute these morons for life?

One of my users has Windows XP Pro and he has "keep taskbar on top of all other windows" and "Lock the taskbar" are checked. "Auto hide taskbar" is not checked. Every time he opens an excel doc. the taskbar will disappear. The only way I know to get it back is to uncheck "keep taskbar on top of all other windows" and then recheck "keep taskbar on top of all other windows". All windows are maxamized as well. I am not sure what to try next.

i had cpr several times with the longest lasting an hour and a half. just curious if other people have survived after anything like this also? 1st one was 29 minutes, 2nd was 55 minutes and the last one was an hour and a half. to say the least, my doctors and surgeon were stunned. they told my family i would have no brain function.

I've heard some of their songs and it seems pretty generic to me. I'm questioning it because there's a line in the movie High Fidelity where John Cusack says "Just because she's dating some Supertramp fan doesn't make me $5000 richer." The movie is centered around good music in general, and I tend to like the majority of the bands that his character likes. So my question is, is Supertramp considered music for people with bad taste?

keeping i mind the community i life in really isn't involved too much in the arts!
I have done fairs and some exhibits and will be hosting an exhibit too this year! other then that and web sites how can you start to make a living?
