Since my parents died, I have moved a lot of there "IMPORTANT" stuff (mostly collectable items that they gathered when they where alive) into the attic.
Last night when I came home from work (3 am-ish) When I passed by the attic cover (The cover is in my hallway) The cover began vibrating and then just left. Scared the crap out of me!! Right now I have no cover...its somewhere in the attic, and im waiting for daylight (and a person with me) before I go find the cover and put it back.
Have you people ever had Ghost type things like happen?

Yes my dad died about 3 & a half years ago & the house that I live in now with my brother & his girlfriend & 3 kids: my dad will go into my room & my brothers (who takes care of me now) room to check on us & see if we're ok! It could be your parents or it just might be squeralls. If it's your parents don't be afraid to go up their by yourself their just probley there to make sure you & everything are ok! You can also call TAPS (people you come & see if there is ghost in your house) they can tell you whether or not theres ghost in your house.

I, personally, do not believe that any sort of spirit or ghost is capable of being seen, heard, or sensed in any physical way. One could certainly not cause anything physical to move.

By definition, a spirit or ghost has no physical characteristics. If it did, it would not be a ghost or spirit. If you understand physics you know that even energy is measurable physically. If it has measurable energy it is not a spirit. It would have to be of the temporal world.

The explanation for your experience, would have to be found in the physical. Since I have no reason to believe you to be untruthful, I can only assume the attic cover was moved by something like differential air pressure or similar.

Mike, you were probably really, really exhausted at 3 a.m. when you got home. If the cover is missing, there must be a logical answer.

I'm sorry for the loss of your parents, but while I do believe in ghosts, I have a hard time believing that one was able to remove the cover.

I wish you well!

Only seeing them, i have and also a few friends have told me their stories but it's not common. I've never heard of actual physical stuff being moved, must be a reason for it. I would contact a reliable medium to communicate with the spirit and see what they want or help them go into the light. Probably find some in the yellow pages phone book.

My sister used to live in an old farmhouse in the country. She said there was a ghost there (dishes or doors moving when she was sure her husband was out and her son was asleep). She was quite comfortable with it, she and the ghost had a peaceful co-existance. I think there's a ghost in my house too, even though it's new and we're the first owners. I don't tell too many people though. They may think I'm nuts.

Yes I have and they can be scary as hell! Sylvia Browne says that you have to tell the ghosts (spirits) out loud, to go to the light, that they're dead and don't belong there anymore. I had something happen a few weeks ago (a window flew open as I walked by it) and I did what she said. I haven't had any signs since! Good luck!

Yes a couple of years ago, we lost a very dear friend and on the night he died we had knocking on doors windows rattling lots of odd things happening, it is scary when it happens but someone told me once that its just the person or persons you have lost letting you know they are still about.

I examine the Harry Potter books and enjoyed how the Weasley kinfolk had a ghoul residing in theirs who used to bang on the pipes while issues have been given somewhat too quiet. Errol, became into it? No, no, that became into their owl. in any case, I even have by no ability examine Harry Potter.

No, sorry I haven't, but I have a good friend who has. His wife died about 18 months ago, and (he says) she would move things around their house. If your serious, e mail me with your e mail. I will get in touch with him and have him contact you. He has studied things like this and knows a lot about it.
Good luck
sorry for your loss
