1. Get some business cards made up. You can do it on your own computer or by going to a site like vista.com where they have designs already for you.
2. Keep doing fairs and exhibits.
3. Visit as many galleries as you can both in person and on line. Make sure you have a portfolio of your work that is clean, neat and presents you as a professional.
4. If your local library has an empty wall, ask if you can put up an exhibit.
5. Try to broaden the arts community where you live. You might want to try putting together a meeting and using a room at the library or a local school.
6. Set up profiles on all the artist websites you can find. Many are free like myartprofile.com while others charge minimum fees, like ebsqart.com for self-representing artists.
7. Think about buying your name as a domain and setting up your own website. It can be as simple as one-page and direct people to everywhere you are exhibiting online and off.
8. Try selling less expensive pieces on eBay. Many of us have had luck there.
9. Network with other abstract artists and ask them how they are doing with sales.
10. I am an abstract expressionist who works with acrylics and water-based inks on monoprints. While it is difficult to make a living, it can be done but only with hard work and discipline. You need to make a schedule that sets aside about 25% of your working hours a week for marketing and sales until you are good enough to have a hard-working agent/gallery. That said, the most successful artists I know are self-promoters.
11. As Thomas Jefferson once said, "Hard work makes good luck."
Best wishes to you!

this is a extremely perplexing question, because it style of feels to be ordinary. residing is seeking happiness. you are able to attain it via a number of techniques, and for each individual there's a distinctive meaning for the notice "happiness". So, as this is rather subjective, the thank you to realize it, honestly relies upon on each physique. life is worth residing in case you think of suitable to the smile of a new child (for somebody)... or life is such once you hit upon love, or whilst a real pal shows his friendship in some no longer basic circumstances. i think of that the paintings of residing is that of taking the ultimate from each little thing we would desire to continually face each and every day. Telefon Tel Aviv - digital band says that "life Is All approximately Taking issues In And putting issues Out"... purely think of roughly that!

take it to the newspaper, advertise, create exibits at church, banks, stores, anywhere that will let you display your work. If it's good, your name will get around. Just make the effort to talk to business owners. They will be glad to help you.
