What fantastic uses do you have for them?
I use them as dampeners on my tennis racquets. I also enjoy wrapping them around my fingers and cutting off the circulation.

One of my neighbours has parked a really scruffy tatty caravan on our Street and it's just overhanging my drive..Its an eyesore and it's really starting to annoy me!! According to evolution, all living things evolved from organic material and I assume, some source of energy. With all the complex processes involved in just living/existing, much less everything involved in any decision, couldn't the energy involved become part of the whole organism and everything involved? Especially humans since the mind is very complex?

I am really trying to be respectful with this question, and I would love to hear from people who support the other side of this question (the illegal immigrants). I have a problem with people who are here illegally (breaking the law) demanding anything. I think they should be glad that they are not deported back to their countries for breaking the law. I came to the US from another country legally, and waited for 5 years to become a permanent resident, then another 5 years to become a citizen. I was grateful to this country for accepting my application to become a citizen, but was willing to go back to my birth country if I had been turned down. How dare people who are here by breaking the law demand anything?! What are your thoughts on this subject?

Constantly posting stupid questions isn't going to help this nation out, and only works toward more division, more rivalry, more blue vs. red b.s. Why not instead of asking "why Liberals worship Stalin" or "why Conservatives are mindless drones," why don't we open up and realize that everyone, left and right, simply wants what is best for this country, and that for us to accomplish anything as a nation we must work as one, and that pandering to our respective ideologues with offensive, vindictive speech will not get us anywhere?

Hello.
So far I've decided that the pros to a college dorm are:
*being more active on campus
*able to make more friends
*save on gas money
*feel more independant.

The cons to a college dorm so far are:
*more expensive
*not able to see my friends from my hometown as often
*having to share a room with a stranger.


I'd appreciate any feedback, keeping in mind that I only live about an hour or so away from campus anyways, depending on the traffic at the time. Thank you so much!
