The Titans surprised everyone by taking Texas safety Michael Griffin in the first round. Griffin, a converted high school running back, led Texas in tackles last season from the free safety position and figures to be a productive pro. However, Arizona RB Chris Henry was a reach, considering he started only six games in college and is leaving after his junior season. Henry did run a 4.4 40-yard dash at 233-pounds and that's what got scouts buzzing. But his lack of production at the college level must be a concern; either that or Jeff Fisher is really bummed about spending a second-round pick on LenDale White last year. Fresno State receiver Paul Williams was excellent value in the third round. He only started five games this past season due to injuries, but averaged 17 yards a catch as a junior. He is the brother from former No. 1 pick J.D. Williams of the Buffalo Bills. WR Joel Filani caught 23 TD passes at Texas Tech, but ran only a 4.7 40-yard dash and that's why he dropped to the sixth round. Grade: C

Overrated QB who really just seems to play RB instead. They got rid of their real work horse, travis henry, and are now counting on some question marks at the position.
The team as a whole is much better than they were given credit for. The defense performed very well overall.
The team got by last year on the running game and the defense. Young needs to show something as a passer if this team is ever going to take another step forward, one of those other rb's is going to have to be their workhorse, and the defense had better not miss pac man.

I'm from Nashville so....

They're draft was rated between a C+ and a D. Our problem child, Pacman Jones, needs to be released. Can we say "another Lawrence Phillips"! I think Vince Young will be even better this year. Our running game has yet to live up to its potential as Lendale White has yet to prove himself and also is overweight in the offseason. Defensively, I'm not sure we have all our ducks in a row. Finally, we have a great coach, Jeff Fisher, who consistently coaches a good game. Go Titans!

Exciting young QB, inexperienced though. They did not address the loss of Packman or Travis Henry in the draft or free agency. Their D is poor, forcing Young to put up big numbers each and every week, he won't. 6-10 maybe 7-9 at best
