Techincally the caravan must be hitched to a vehicle and insured to remain on the highway, displaying side lights at night. It may be classed as an obstruction under the highways act, but pest complain to your local council, there are sometimes bylaws as well that restrict the parking of such items on the highways. including skips etc...

If it is causing an obstruction across your drive, you should contact the police and/or council to have it removed. You could also check your deeds as there may be something which prevent a caravan being left in full view (we had a similar thing for a previous house). However, if this is the case, it may be up to you to take him to court to have the caravan removed, which may cost you a lot of money.
You may like to carefully ask other neighbours what they feel about it.
If others are concerned and you then make a tactful approach to the neighbour, he may consider moving it (or not!).

I would be interested to know as I'm thinking of being inconsiderate as well. Only joking it would be interesting to know as too many people in my own street leave caravans parked in the street.
And nearly always near road junctions where you have to peer around the caravan to get a clear view of what traffic is coming before you can pull out onto the road . I am of the opnion that some folk have no brains cells or perhaps they rent the caravans out o homeless folk...who knows not me anymore..anything goes now in the UK.

If it is within 6 feet of the curb for the end of your drive call the cops as it is illegally parked. Otherwise, Like no curb, if it actually overhangs your drive and not just what you "want" to be your drive - call the cops. If it does not have current tags and stickers required by local law - call the cops. Good luck

As far as I know it is not illegal as long as it is roadworthy.
It would be a real shame if it caught fire!!!.
