Isn't it ironic that a man who never met Jesus was his #1 fan and was responsible for writing so much of the New Testament?

He popularized Christianity, codified it, politicized it, defined it. With so much of the early church being formed by Paul, is it unfair to say that Chrisitianity is as much about Paul's take on life as it is about the philosophy of Jesus?

For decades, two heroic statues, one male and one female, faced each other in a city park, until one day an angel came down from heaven.

"You've been such exemplary statues," he announced to them, "That I'm going to give you a special gift. I'm going to bring you both to life for thirty minutes, in which you can do anything you want." And with a clap of his hands, the angel brought the statues to life.

The two approached each other a bit shyly, but soon dashed for the bushes, from which shortly emerged a good deal of giggling, laughter, and shaking of branches. Fifteen minutes later, the two statues emerged from the bushes, wide grins on their faces.

"You still have fifteen more minutes," said the angel, winking at them.

Grinning even more widely the female statue turned to the male statue and said, "Great! Only this time you hold the pigeon down and I'll cr*p on it's head."

What is the purpose of human life?
If there is no God, why do we have to live then? 'Cause we don't live forever, and if there is no God, we have got nothing to look forward to after death?

For example, consider this concept from the Divine Principle:

Freedom + Responsibility = Results

In this equation responsibility is shared between God and His children. This is best expressed as a fraction or ratio. God always gives 100%, the actual results we get in any situation depend on our response(ability). For example:

. . . . . . . . . . . Our responsibility = 10
Freedom + --------------------------- ------ = Our Results (fruit)
. . . . . . . . . . God's responsibility = 100

If we make a 10% investment in fulfilling our responsibility, then we get a 10% result. If we invest 50% we get a 50% result. If we invest 100% we get 100% result.

Any other spiritual math nerds out there?

How is it we can allow for a new staff of leaders to run our country (into the ground in some cases) who have clear ties to oil (Cheney was CEO of Halliburton, Bush ties through Zapata companies, all of which are profiting from delaying alternative energies, ending war in Iraq, etc.) or war machine manufacturers (Bush Family - i.e. Bush sr. is board member of United Defense - they made hundreds of millions of Iraq), drug companies (Rumsfeld - convinced Reagan to fire and replace Food and Drug Administrator - launched Apartame aka NutraSweet and had it reclassified from a drug to a food additive - He was the CEO), etc.
It's just not right. It doesn't end there either. Honesty and itegrity seem to go out the window all too often. I believe a candidate for President should be better fitted for the job, someone who doesn't have huge personal gain.

A - Why do we let this happen
B - What if anything can we do about it?
C - Anything similar you can bring to the table

I thought *Satan* was the god of earth..... ?

And Why do most Bibles say God created heaven and earth, before he created heaven and earth? Is that where the error propagates from? Shouldn't Creationism be an alternative to physical theory of the universe rather than and alternative to biological theory of evolution?

No wonder the atheists in here are frustrated.... this creationism tack really is wholly indefensible IMO... And intelligent design by some midway divine intervention... come on.. is that the best these thousands of minds can come up with? It doesn't even try to postulate God, nothing but ludicrous apologetics if you ask me, which you didn't, but I'll say so anyhow.......

excuse me for ranting... The first few lines are my actual questions, I would like to know if there are any creationists with a tangible theory out there.. or if it really is this hokey?

NOT!!!! You know why I can say this? Because if there was an actual shortage of people to do the jobs then the cost of wages would go UP and not DOWN like it currently is doing!
