Well, then call the Child Protective Services, and tell them that the parents are not taking their responsibilitys..not that the child is being abused, but maybe that ignorance on the parents part is causing their reaction, and let the authorities decide

Have you contacted the parents??? If yes I am sure your school has rules and regulations with how to handle this...I sugggest visiting the principal or counselors at your school...they'll know what to do with the student.....until you find out you can send "it" to the nurses office where they have beds for "it" to sleep more comfortably. I am sure this is hardest on "it" so whatever you do put "it's" feelings first. Good luck and I am sure "it" will work out ; )

IT? You call a child an it???? And why doesn't the school have a policy in place for this? What kind of school personnel would come HERE to find out what to do?

What school do you work at? I have to make sure my kids never go there.

Quit your job. Seriously. You have no business doing anything involving children. At this point I have serious doubts if you have any business doing anything that involves people period.
