I'd ask "What is the difference between a democracy and a republic and which of the two is the United States of America?
That is a basic principle and foundation behind our Constitution and form of government.
You will be amazed how many politicians don't know or understand that principle!

Do you think that the investigation, prosecution and punishment of the GOP/Neokon* corrupt criminals and their "private sector" corporate associates, of the last 10 years, including Cheney and Bush, should stop and be forgotten and forgiven once you are elected?...or should they be continued to pursue justice, restitution to taxpayers, confiscation of ill-gotten gains, income taxes, jail-sentences and all?
I, for one, think that anyone in government (I don't care what party) who resigns or is removed for corrupt illegal inappropriate behavior should be forced to pay back every dime paid to him, including his entire office and staff salary expenses etc. while he was in the public employ ++ interest. For a hyprocrite lying criminals like Foley and Delay this covers many many millions of recoupable tax-payer money.
*and any Democrats/Liberals Independents etc.
