my stepson is 6 and is developmentally delayed with autistic tendencies. just wondering if anyone has ever heard of them being medicated for over-eating or basically eating to self-soothe. thanks for any help or experiences or advice you can offer. his psychiatrist has put him on abilify (for a year now) and is wanting to start him on something else for the eating/soothing. he used to hand flap and do these things with his fingers. and yes, he is verbal, but he is also slow and doesn't understand some concepts.

On March 2 my 7.5 year old cat had exploratory surgery to determine the cause of her vomiting and occasional diarrhea. It turned out she has Inflammatory Bowel Disease. She is now on a strict diet of Venison and green pea canned cat food only (which is not on the recall list, thank goodness). However, last week she had a second surgery b/c there was a large golfball sized lump on her belly. Turned out it was a hernia, most likely caused by the last surgery. So last Wednesday, she had it fixed.... NOW, 8 days later, the lump is there... still. Only this time it feels harder. Two days after surgery she did try jumping on the table, and fell, and I know that was not good.

The vet said it was a seroma. BUT, I have this bad feeling it is another hernia. It does not hurt her.... at least it does not seem to. Apparently a seroma is liquid filled and this feels hard... does anyone have input??

My brother was involved in an accident. he was crossing across 2 lanes of traffic and didnt see a oncoming car. after the accident when the cops were at the scene a friend of his came to see if he was alright. the cops started making fun of him because he is a little eccentric and has blue hair. Why do they think that is acceptable when they are on the job. shouldnt they be role models?

A tap on the legs is fair enough for a small child who throws a tantrum in a supermarket, but as they get older their antics can be a tad more serious....My brothers 14yr old son got caught trying to steal a neighbours car. No charges have been brought by the police. We were wondering if we should round up a group of mates from the pub, get him in a room and give him a kicking he wont forget and may learn a lesson from it. Ok I have a big problem. I like this guy named Joe. He doesn't know that I like him and I'm not really friends with him at all. My friends have told me that he hates girls and that if he found out that I liked him, he would go ballistic. He's not gay, I know that for a fact. And every time I see him I feel very upset inside because I know that he will probably never find out that I like him. He will never love me. I want to get to know him, but I'm so afraid that he will hate me. I have started to hate myself for falling for him. My parents and I are always fighting. Because both of those reasons, I cut myself at the beginning of the month. My mom found out and I told her that I was sick of her putting me down. So she doesn't do it as much as she used to.

I'm happy most of the time now, except when I see Joe because then I feel very sad when I look at him.

What do you think that I should do? Should I tell him that I like him or not?

earlier next to my tummy it was really really hurting on the left it felt like i had pulled a muscle or something but are there any muscles there? What is there?
