like both shows but I think Rome is a much better show; especially historically.

However Jonathan Rhys Meyers is an exceptional actor and very, very easy on the eyes and loins...

Rome was the balls, but now is over. I am so into Tudors right now. It's great. I am telling everyone at work to watch it.

HBO's Rome captures the essence of Rome at the time, even if all the events in it are not historically accurate. I'd rather have another season of Vorenus and Pullo (and see how Livia eventually becomes the murderous witch she was). But since that's not possible, I'm turning to The Tudors for my weekly time-travel fix. Sadly, it too plays fast and loose with the real events, which were quite exciting enough as they actually happened. Hey, but we still get to see the "most beautiful Prince in Christendom".

They are both great, but I love the Tudors more. It's a really good story line and Rhys-Meyers looks gorgeous.

I like the Tudors better - just because personally I find that period of history more interesting.
