It was a very sad movie and the music score was incredibly beautiful. The Carpenters sang the theme song and it was later used during the Olympics and called 'Nadia's Theme.' I think it's also used as the theme song for a soap opera. For awhile there was some legal problem and you could not buy the soundtrack anywhere, even the Carpenter's rendition was missing. Does anyone know why? Is that music available anywhere now? Thanks!

ok, I recently ran across a word, and for some reason the "pronounciation key" that was with it made no sense to me. It's from Old English, like before 900, and I already know what it means, but if some one could tell me how to pronounce "wærloga" I would really appreciate it.

I mean i still don't get it.... they showed that Mcgrath on top with 12 points Mahela in the second slot with 11 Murali...... Last????

even though murali took 23 wkt in 9 matches and Mcgrath who is on top with 22 wkt in 9 matches we all knw that he dont contribute with bat so what makes the selectors to give him 12 points as man of the series???

My soon to be 9 year old son will have to have dental surgery this Monday (to remove an extra tooth) and he will have to go under general anesthia, without the breathing tube. I am worried sick,,,,,I suffer from anxiety and panic attacks and therefore I am a chronic worrier...I keep thinking "what if' he doesn't wake up? Please tell me of any experience you have had with your child going under anesthesia....Thank you sooooo much!

I watched the movie Bobby and all the memories started flowing.
His great speeches demanding an end to violence were played.
Where is President Pelosi to invoke his memory and devotion to life. John, Martin and Bobby all lost in the 1960's and now more lost since 2001. Time to end the losses. My paralyzed Special Education student done in by a bullet goes to a funeral Friday of another young man shot in the head and killed by the bullet.

i tend to forget some details on day to day activities and there are times that i loose track of what i plan to do (like what item should i pick up after going down the stairs..). plus i'm really no good remembering names... im still in my early 30s, and i theorize that im very pre-occupied that's why i forget..

I am going vegan and I'm wondering how to make sure that I don't gain weight. (I gained a decent amount going vegetarian)
I've heard that you can divide up meals so that you have just fruit in the morning, starch for lunch, and protein for dinner (order doesn't matter)
I've also heard that eating too many carbohydrates is the main reason for gaining weight when you're vegetarian or vegan. But if I ever got hungry and ate apples (5-6, excluding any that I would have for breakfast) throughout the day could I gain weight off of that since apples are simple carbohydrates?
Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do to make sure that I lose the extra weight that I gained and stop from gaining anymore??
Or what is a good way to arrange food during the day? Or is there?

I'm planning on working 3 jobs this year. I'm a full time student and I should get about $10,000 altogether at the end of the year. I understand both arguments on too much and too little tax being withheld (get refund check in Spring or get as much back now and earn interest)

Few questions: What should I withhold (recommendations and options)? Usually I've put "Exempt" but I don't think I'm legally able to now that I'm making above $5,350.

I've seen the statement of 0 allowances being the maximum tax withheld but how do I figure out what percentage that would be?

My beautiful Oranda seems to be hanging around the top of the tank. I have thrown in peas, but I can't get him to eat them -- what else could be wrong to make him do that, and is there anything else I can do? I love this guy -- he is able to swim lower, but tends to go right up to where the filter sprays water on him. Thanks!

A man goes to the doctor after feeling ill. The doctor says, "You know, you should have come to see me sooner. Unfortunately you have waited too long and you are going to die this evening."

The man is distraught and wonders how he is going to tell his wife. Well, he tells her and she takes it pretty well. "Honey, this is going to be a night that you will always remember," she says. "I am going to treat you like a king."

Well, the husband is wide awake watching the clock. He knows that he is doomed. He taps her..."Honey?" he whispers. She rolls over and again proceed to make love. Again when they were done she rolls over and he taps her. She is getting cranky, but under the circumstances she grants her husband's dying wishes. Finally the wife rolls over and begins to snore.

Well, the man decides to tap her again. "Honey?" he whispers. She rolls over and yells, "Oh sure! You don't have to get up in the morning!!!

She will sit by her older sister and pull on her hair, when she wakes up in the morning and I'm laying there she'll grab something and wack me on the head. She will push other kids and try and yank them around. We are very gentle with her and not sure where she is learning this type of thing. Her cousin age 3 was at our house crying for her mom and my daughter tried to bite her and was yanking on her shirt. Not sure how to disipline her at this age, saying no, no and removing her doesn't work to well. She'll just start throwing a fit. Is this normal behavior for a child of this age? My first daughter did nothing of the sort.
