How can I be a better christain?

Get some sleep, pray to God, read from the Bible, but also from other inspirational sources. Most of all love everyone no matter what they say or do (a tall order I know), love God above all else, try to get the log out of your eye and leave the judging to God, forgive, forgive, forgive 7 x 70. That will be a very good start.

By the way, the current erroneous trend for Christianity is to attempt to make yourself better for God. The Purpose Driven Life, and those authors who come out of that influence are tending to teach that. I would encourage you to refrain from that, and keep your eyes on Christ as much as possible.

deny yourself, pick up your cross daily and follow Jesus......so put God first and love others and remember to pray and read the Word of God so you will be prepared for anything. Being a better Christian is just growing spiritually to be more Christ-like and your question is a good first step. God bless.

You will need to pray everyday,not onlyfor yourself but for others. People in other countries,,people in need,Youneed t make a special time for yourself to bond with God and to read the Bible. ur purpose in life is so that God can make u to be more like Jesus. I dont think its in ur power to be a better christian. Only God can make u a better christian/person. i would say continue to pray , seek God and read ur bible.
