It was a very sad movie and the music score was incredibly beautiful. The Carpenters sang the theme song and it was later used during the Olympics and called 'Nadia's Theme.' I think it's also used as the theme song for a soap opera. For awhile there was some legal problem and you could not buy the soundtrack anywhere, even the Carpenter's rendition was missing. Does anyone know why? Is that music available anywhere now? Thanks!

...I DO remember the film, but not so much the soundtrack, which as I recall, wholesomely benefited and enhanced the film most exempliarily; however foremost, I do recall the controversy between the supporters of the cause of the film...the animal rights groups...and the governmental bureaucrats and gun enthusiasts, particularly the extremely heated debate between one of the bureaucrats, and actor Billy Mumy (famous for playing the kid in the Twilight Zone episode, "It's a Good Life", and who actually played a role in "Bless the Beasts...").
