This may sound like a strange question but in general many practitioners of some form of magical art would follow some ethical standard to not interfere in the free will of others. For example ask almost any witch following the principles found in Wicca if it is right to cast a love spell on someone and they will say that it is not right to interfere in the free will of others or coerce them in any way. Why is it ok to pray for people against their will?Especially in regards to changing their opinion in matters of religion and basically passively trying to force them into something. Isn't this just an attempt at magic of the blackest kind? Spells and prayer do share some basic principles. This is not to say that either of these forms of trying to get something actually work. More about the ethical aspects of having something forced on you.

Well, most of us are in love with one person. However, we all can be sexually attracted to more than one person. Very few of us cheat, but it all depends what you call cheating. Fantasizing about someone other than your partner can be called cheating too. So, do you think it is unnatural for people to stay with one partner for entire life, and we are pushed to do so by religion and society?

My husband and i have had issues since we married. tried counseling and he was the one that admitted he was not ready to get married,so it was hard to commit to someone else but him. he is a good person, but show some bad behavior when we has irritated. he left home twice and came back, etc. this was 2 years ago. For the past 2 years, we were holding on,but never happy. I got a job offer overseas and he asked me to take it and told me he will support me. months later he change dhis mind and said that he wasnt sure. I moved and we kept talking.he came to visit 3 times within 6 months and the last time he really showed he cared about me and really mature. He realized he didnt wanted to loose me when i told him that we had lost lot of time and it was better to get divorced. Eventhought things were great last time, i didnt wanted to tell him to move right away again. I even felt pressured &felt i wanted to meet more people before taking a decision. am i wrong?

Sure they try with Christian rock concerts and everything...but let's face it. Rules and Regulations (ie. the 10 commandments CANT be made cool). America is about individual freedom NOT fictiotious fairy tales to be adhered to. Tell me, does any Christians here believe they are cool? How can you? Some would say you are stuffy nerds who don't know a good time at all...................

There were 11 disciples of Jesus who, after his death, became apostles (sent out to spread the word). Matthias was chosen after Jesus' death to replace Judas Iscariot, making the official number 12.

Paul was not one of the 12, but he was clearly one of the, if not the, most important Apostle. How does he relate to the 12?

What was different about Paul's role and the role of the 12?

Thanks.

Seattle and Washington state look really interesting to me. I'm considering a move to Seattle to attend law school. I live near Austin, Texas now (my native state,) but have lived in Kentucky, Georgia and Tennessee, also. Needless to say, I might be in for a culture shock, but that's okay--expands the horizons!

Some questions:
-I know Seattle is not the rainiest city; but, how warm does it usually get in the spring and summer?
-I'm not a right-wing nut job from heck, but still a proud conservative; will Seattle be a friendly, open place to people like me? I've gotten mixed reactions about the "friendly" factor in Seattle.
-I'm age 32, single, just broke up with fiance, love live music, and into jogging every morning. What makes Seattle, Seattle? (Not Pike Place or the Space Needle, but the local hangouts and establishments.)

Thanks in advance for the help!
