I'm with dagim41. Liveaquaria (Drs. Foster and Smith site: http://www.liveaquaria.com/ ) and That Pet Place (http://www.thatpetplace.com/pet/index.web ) also both offer a guarantee they'll arrive in good shape (except on certain species noted otherwise) if you follow their shipping and acclimation guidelines (read actual guarantees in websites, so you'll know specifics ahead of time). Can't beat that.

That pet (Fish) Place, Pet Solutions,DRS foster & Smith. Also see Aquarium Fish Magazine.
They are NOT cheap, and shipping is expensive.
If you buy a lot, they sometimes give free shipping (big orders)

If it can be avoided, I wouldn't buy online. I'd travel two hours for some exotic fish. I'd travel an hour for good common fish. I wouldn't travel more than 1/2 hour for supplies and food.
Fortunately for me, the only thing I occasionally mail order is supplies and food.
