I work as a private contractor in California. I recieved my first paycheck at a new place for less than the agreed upon amount per year...is this due to company tax witholding? It happens to be almost exactly 7.6% off, leading me to believe that this is the first round of taxes taken out...but I can't be sure.

Also, what is the other amount I have to set aside to send into the IRS per quarter?

I closed my drive door and all of the sudden the side mirror pops out. It's still attached through some wire/cords it has but when i try to pop it back in place it won't stay; it will fall out as soon as I close the door again. Do I have to take it to a mechanic? Is this easy/expensive to fix? HELP!

I always wanted to buy a canary. But the prices in pet stores were most expensive out of all birds for the canaries. They cost over a $100 sometimes. I was wondering if anyone knows any franchise or place where you can get a canary male bird for less than seventy dollars. Let me know guys. Peace.

A few days ago I answered a question about "Handing out condoms and promting 'safe sex' to teens in school". I said that was not a good idea and that to me it simply shows that parents and adults have given up all hope on the sexual purity or our children. I believe we should promote "No sex" until marraige as the only safe sex option. What do you think???

By the way I participated in a High School Health fair Friday, promoting our "Spiritual Health" at our Church. I saw 5 young pregnant girls there ages 14-16. Our safe sex talks are not working!!!
