Well to say first, they have changed their formula of only going by the big names and they have given chances to youngesters and well they have to prove themselves with this given chance. If they perform good then we can see more and more of them, but I cant gurantee on their performances cause youngesters also change with their performances just like Irfan Patan, when he came to International cricket he was the deadliest bowler that India has every produced but after few years he is gettin hit all around the ground by every batsman. This is what we fear from the youngesters, they can lose their potential and play worst cricket and at that time they need expert advice and our indian expert panel advice is to get down of the team and play nothing but domestic cricket, thats why we are not getting the best from our youngesters. This is a great chance for the youngesters to show their talent and should go on like that.
Whatever the indian cricket team which is gone to Bangladesh, they have to play their best cricket and when they play to their fullest potential that automatic changes the team aim to win matches. Hope the youngesters prove themselves.
This team I can say is a exprience plus young gunn, so we can see some deadly game from them that is if they play to their potential. So lets just watch and wait....

When you think about giving opportunities to youngsters, I do not find any logic in selecting Dinesh Mongia as he is already 30 plus and has been IN and OUT of Indian team on couple of occasions. Hence ideal choice instead of him should have been either Suresh Raina or Mohd. Kaif. Similarly V.R.V. Singh and R.P. Singh have also been given opportunities in the past and were not successful to cement their place in the team. I would have preferred Bose of Bengal in the Team.

there are many youngsters in the team..which is good. but we can never guarantee on young players. i was watching the news and they said that the team selection has been done with a ton of politics involved. dilip vengsarkar is not at all happy witht the selection and another member has said to the media that the board is more powerful.

"OLD WINE IN THE NEW BOTTLE" is the nutshell answer to the first part of yr question. Good to see Dinesh Kaarthick in both squads but why Dhoni? Also why recall Dinesh Mongia. Quote Chief Selector Vengsarkar says quote "not enough talent in the country". Poor guy he wanted to say "not enough talent in Mumbai". Slip of the tongue after all.
