Well, I love fire - almost everything about fire - it's fierce blaze, it's bright, dazzling colour, the way it burns, the way it's spread, it's smoke, the smell & most importantly the heat - that's the core and finally the way it burns down everything in fractions of second And yes, there is something quite incredibly INTOXICATING about the whole thing actually so no matter what I always carry fire within.
But I'm defiitely NOT the one to start the fire - this is MY ETHICS & I always stand by it But if someone deliberately starts it then I WON'T mind fanning it either until it grows & grows to a very nice & FIERCE FLAME. And yes, I'm DEFINITELY quite good at fanning the fire. And since I'm NOT the one who started it so OBVIOUSLY I would never be the one to throw water to put it off either. This is against MY PRINCIPLE too.So once it's on then I bet it's on for me And I don't give a damn how long it goes on either. It doesn't matter. So if it bothers anyone then they can very well get some water and throw at it to put it off as well since they're the one who started it & so this job belongs to them too So worse come to Worst it still NOT going to be me, NEVER & that's definitely a promise ofcourse.

What happens is the controlled fire destroys the oxygen supply to the fire you are fighting. I don't know results, but it isn't a good idea to throw water on oil/gas fires or electrical fires.
oil/gas because they float on the water and just burn above water
electrical because you're going to electricute someone

it is used by the forest service when fighting a major brush fire.....It works most of the time but some time it will back fire and they will have a much bigger fire to fight.....
now if you are talking figuratively and not literally then if you are fighting fire with fire you usually are in a very volatile situation and fighting fire with fire usually does not work.

burning a fire near a fire sucks up all the oxygen which causes the other fire to lose power...no o2 to fire. then both fires are small and containable.
