One other thing.
Where the two bolts hold the caliper on are small metal slide tubes that the bolts go thru.
You may need to press them back in a little to get the caliper to fit back on right.

first loosen the bleeder zert on the piston then take a c-clamp and compress the piston use old brake pad so that you don't damage the piston tighten the clamp until the piston is flush with the housing reinstall new pads and caliper should slide on without to much problem replace caliper bolts and torque to specs next yuo will need a friend to help you bleed the air from the lines. start with the brae furthest from the reservoir usually rear passenger thengo on to the drver side, passenger front driver front make sure you top off reservoir.

Use a c-clamp to compress the piston but you have to open your the brake fluid resivoir so the fluid that will back flush has a place to go or 1st the piston won't compress, 2nd you could possibly rupture.Refill the brake fluid lost and bleed the brakes if air happens to get in.

you have not depressed the piston far enough back into the caliper remove the cap on the master cylinder , Apply old brake shoe into caliper apply c-clamp turn until stops remove c-clamp and old brake pad install new break pad and you are set good luck.

a carpenter's c clamp 6 inch will do fine careful not to damage the piston it is not metallic. or a special tool that sells for 11.00 to retract the piston.

And while you are using that compression tool, make sure you have the bleed valve open, and something to catch the fluid so that the caliper CAN compress, otherwise, it won't..
