I always wanted to buy a canary. But the prices in pet stores were most expensive out of all birds for the canaries. They cost over a $100 sometimes. I was wondering if anyone knows any franchise or place where you can get a canary male bird for less than seventy dollars. Let me know guys. Peace.

Watch local ads in the news papers or put one in yourself. There may be someone who can't afford or take care of a canary due to illness or something. Good Luck

You could try calling or stopping by your local humane society. Maybe even look on www.craigslist.com (for your town) under pets. You might want to check the Yellow Pages of your phone book for alternate sources. Happy hunting!

If you want a guareented singer..they may not strart singing
Until they are 2 yrs. old so the breeder has a big investment in the male. So their not cheap but the pleasure they give is worth it.
