Me and her broke up after 2 weeks, I am 17, and she is 15. My ex-girlfriend, her brother and one of his friends was driving down the road and whipped out in front of my mom, brother, and step father and cut them off till they pulled over to the side of the road and both of the males in the car jumped out and headed toward the car my family was in while one of the males reached under the seat for a weapon, when my family sped off. I live in a VERY rural town with only 3000 people in it and we only have 3 cops, so I feel there is not much that I can do about this and I need help. I don't know what to do and I had no idea she would go this far and go after my family, we both agreed on the breakup and it wasn't that bad. I just don't get it and I am so scared they will hurt my family or me. What can I do?

I recently purchased a 3/4 carat princess cut diamond engagement ring with bagets (sp?). It looked good to me however after giving it to my girlfriend she noticed an imperfection in it. One corner of the ring looks slightly different than the rest from a top view and if you look at a side view it looks like a tiny bubble. Is this common and should I take it back and get it replaced with a new diamond? She doesn't necessarily want a different diamond but now it is going to annoy me. Other than that imperfection it really is a nice looking ring. Any advice or knowledge on the topic would be greatly appreciated.

I've got a pair of Pentium II PCs - a 233mhz/256meg ram running win95 and a 333mhz/128meg ram running win98, each with a 4gb hd. Before I take them to the local Goodwill for recycling, I want to know if there are any fun stunts I can pull with them, like turning them into a media center, RAID backup for my real PC, Linux box, etc. Any tricks you can recommend to a low-level computer geek?

I'm 15 and this is ruining my life! I wish so badly that I could afford braces. After my father died we were left with no health insurance at all and everyone at school says "hey when are you getting yours?" and I keep saying next summer. I can't smile with my teeth and will not smile! Its so embarrassing, I hate my teeth I feel as though as soon as I open my mouth people judge me! You should see how crooked my teeth are, people call me hill billy, squirell, chipmunk, and rabbit. It hurts so bad, even the monthly payments are too much for my mother who is handling 4 kids without a husband!

When I graduated from high school, my ambition was to become a doctor...so I volunteered for a year in a hospital, then I figured out that medicine is right for me.

Now, I don't know what to do with my life..My sister advises me to become a PA or nurse or something, but I know it won't make me happy..I keep going back and forth between being a PA and a doctor of medicine..but I still don't know...I know deep in my heart, I want to become a doctor..but I'm scared of the rigorous studying and hours spend in the hospital during residency...I know there are many sacrifices involve, but I'm scared..

My GPA isn't great like some people, but I know I can improve it.

I'm not sure which to pick..PA or doctor...Now, I'm so confused enough that I don't know what to do with my life anymore..

What should I do? I'm so confused..
