Outdoor outlet, 110 volts, 20 amps. The circuit is dedicated to a small hot tub. It draws 1500 watts intermittently for the heater and a few watts continually for the circulating pump. Outlet is regular outdoor type with a plastic cover, and GFI plug. One night I noticed power was off. One prong was charred, with plastic melted around it, and melted plastic in the outlet. Breaker on panel wasn't tripped. No evidence of a power surge anywhere else. Any ideas on what's going on and what I should do to correct would be appreciated.

it was on purpose but it was self defense. he has a 18 year old sister. she & i were friends now we barely look at each other. and when we do get eye contact she gives me a dirty look or just stares. im not used to that (not saying im a saint & no1 has ever "hated" me). i want to say sorry but our moms dont get along well. my mom says dont say sorry. if i do how should i ? and should i say sorry 1st or should he? I have been with my boyfriend for 5.5years. we have been on again off again engaged for about 4.5 of those years...right now - we are "off again" in the wedding department. we have lived together for nearly all of the 5.5years (probably like 5years and 2months....). we seperated briefly in the summer for a period of 2months - coincidentally this was also while i was away on buisness in another state....but got back together - coincidentally when i moved back to the city to take another job (there for i never really moved out).

i am on his health insurace - i pay my share of all the bills and stuff - we love each other.... but - i am terrified of the actual "marriage" deal.

we are relatively young - i am 25, he is 31. i love him...and he loves me...but i cant seem to bring myself to take it to the next level...hes a nice guy - im a nice girl... but it sort of seems like there might be a possibility we might not be "nice enough" for each other?

What to do????

My question is: Should that stripper go to jail for lying about those lacross players raping her? She did perjure herself and no matter WHAT-- there are always going to be people who believe they did it--no matter what the evidence. She ruined over a year of the BEST days of these guys lives... and there will be ongoing damage--- irreparable damage to their reputations.

They can sue, but she is a stripper.. It's not like she has any money. The only recourse to hold her accountable is to bring her up on perjury charges!
