They're contstantly buying lottery tickets because they think they only have this lifetime to live, so they want as much money in it as they can get. They don't believe they'll be spending an eternity in Hell, so they want to have the best time and the most money in this life as they can. It's too bad they couldn't take any winnings with them to Hell.

OK, this is a messed up question. You may want to rephrase what you were trying to say.
I am a Christian and I like to buy lottery tickets.
I don't think that I have much of a chance at winning unless it is God's will for me to win.
I figure that when I buy a lottery ticket, I am paying for the chance to dream about the "What If I Win?"
Sure, you can dream about "What If" without actually buying a ticket. But, when you actually have a chance, the "What If" dream can be a little more intense for a short time.

I bet some do and some don't? Any takers? I'll give 2 to 1 odds. As much as I am sorry for anyone's loss I really am suspicious of Morais comment. I have lost friends in car accident by a drunk driver. And my sister was knocked off her bicycle and left in a ditch with her leg dangling by a drunk hit and run driver. Never was anyone religion or lack of called into question. And in all the reports I have heard over the years of Drinking and driving deaths never once have I heard of anyone's religion or lack of being questioned by the police. So I find it a little odd that she happens to know that all of these incidents were caused by Christians. How this even became an issue arouses my curiosity. I have to be honest it sounds about as silly as the askers question. But far too many people don't ask questions in here.

Somehow I doubt Atheist would play the lottery. I hope they can do the math. How about 400 Million to 1

And basically atheists purchase lottery tickets? people have been shown to win the lottery with each so often very super sums of money. Others win modest yet significant quantities yet no one has yet met God so your argument belongs up interior the air.

I buy lottery tickets constantly? Last I looked, I bought a two dollar scratch ticket about 3 or 4 months ago because I thought it might be a moments bit of fun. If you call that "constantly" that's your gambling problem, not mine.

What in hell are you talking about "drive in bombs"? I don't even own a car dipwad. I usually walk everywhere I go. And last I looked it was Christian drunk drivers that killed three of my family members and maimed a fourth for life.

Try again.

The lottery is a tax on people who are bad at math. So I'd guess, with admittedly no evidence to back me up, that Christians buy more lottery tickets per capita than atheists.

I have never bought a lottery ticket. I suspect the vast majority of people who buy lottery tickets are Christian.

Dr. Joseph D. Diaz is an Associate Professor of Sociology. He performed a study correlating daily gambling behavior with religion.

Catholics Gamble daily the most then
Protestants then
Jews then
Atheists and finally
Mormons gamble the least
