lol... A "tater tot" is a prepared and pressed potato about the size of a thread spool. The texture is the same as the McDonalds Breakfast Hash Brown... sort of a crumbled potato. We buy these frozen in bags. You pour out a number of them on a cookie sheet and bake them or broil them to warm and toast. Just a bite size finger licking fried potato product. I wouldn't be surprised if you don't have the same thing under another name (cookie-biscuit, Texas fries-chips...) g-day!
