I've seen lot's of Botanicas around. And I wonder if there's anyone who's had any experinces with it?

The experience is brought forth by my super-catholic mother who's mother's mother was a curandera (or healer).

I have always been in a home full of candles, santos, and Orishas. To me, it was just a part of life and was never something that made me uncomfortable.

The home remedies for sickness that Santeria boasts worked in many instances for my asthma as a child. Now as an adult, I still feel the need to hear the bongo drums...to light a candle for a oracion...it is in my blood.

Yes, My friend knows a lot about it. She knows a lot of people who are santeros. You represent an oricha. For example I represent Chango. I dont practice it.
