I have asked a number of questions on this forum and have received a wide variety of answers. Some of the answers I receive are thoughtful, others seem to be made up on the fly. Few seem to be aware that there is more than one way to answer the question and fewer still seem to explain why their answer is better than other answers that have traditionally been given. Does this concern you? It seems that most of you are very poorly informed on theological matters. Doesn't this leave a lot of room for error? You could be a heretic and not even know it because you don't have enough familiarity with historical theology to know what ideas have been defeated and shown to be heretical!

When I yawned this morning, I heard my jaw 'cracked'. Now, it hurts and I can't open my mouth wide like before when I eat. It hurts on the left! Should I go to a docs? Or what?

I had extreme tooth pain and tried to set up an emergency appointment with my dentist. I was told they're full for over a week. I couldn't even get them to prescribe antibiotics, they told me to ask my regular doctor. Thankfully, I was able to get Penicillin VK (750mg total daily). In a few days, I finally had relief from the pain. The problem is, this morning my face began to swell, in front and above the bad tooth. I phoned a nurse at the hospital and after talking with her, she said I need to be seen by a dentist within 24 hours. Well, the two dentist I can see are both full. I decided to head to the er, since she insisted. The doctor said the infection is in the bone and there's nothing he could do. He said the tooth has to come out and I need to see a dentist as soon as possible. Well, I already tried. He said the antibiotics aren't doing their job since I'm swelling. I'm on 2000mg total daily now. I tried the dentists again and the soonest opening is five days away. Is this safe?

well, there's a girl I have been talking to ..well, I have always considered her, my friend ...but, I never was interested in her ...well, I have always liked her, but, I had a gf at this time .....but, well, now , it's been a while since I have broken from my relationship and that she has broken from her relationship too ...we are both single ...I never was interested ...well, she's beautiful and stuff ..but, that doesn't make any effect on me ...but, suddenly, I discovered other aspects in her ..I really liked the way she thinks , the way she talks ..well, she's funny ..!! well, I'm really attracted to her now ..and she seems to like me , too ....I'm afraid to ask her out ..because I'm not really sure of her feelings ..(by the way, she's a coworker) ..what should I do, you think ?

I got accepted into Accounting as my major at my college, but I want to get into the pharmacy program at the school. Wasn't accepted, but they suggest me to take the pre-pharmacy courses and than try to transfer in. So should I change my major from accounting to biology? Or what major would be considered for pre-pharmacy?

i'd like to ask a simple question: why do so many of you send qstions that don't show any mathematical curiosity such as dull computational exercises?it is unbelievable to see questions like make the division.... or find gcd. There are thousands maybe millions of topics on the network that give you a really and i mean REEEAALY good prospective of all the theory (?) you should know tfind the answer. I don't want to offend anyone but pose a question to the administrators : is this a forum for others' homework? cause i don't think that this is math;that's just dull computations , and i am sure that math is more than dull computations; it's about thinking.So couldn't you make a new link to computational or homework stuff. ?

If I were to work for a tutoring company that pays hourly on a contracted bases and they don't take any taxes out of the paycheck, how would that work on your taxes come tax time? It sounds great, however I don't want to get "screwed" at tax time and have to pay a boatload in taxes on that income. Just trying to figure out if it is worth it to work on this basis....thanks for all the help!!

Why is it that my DSL modem works on some phone jacks, and receives the feed, but not on others. It's really annoying because it works on the upstairs jacks, but none of the downstairs ones. Strangely enough, all the phone jacks have a dial tone, and work with any phone, but when I connect the DSL modem and router, my modem will not detect any DSL feed.

How do I get DSL to run through these jacks? What da' problem is?
