Seriously, the "revelations" in Calc are mind-boggling but make sense and are provable.
On the other hand, God cleary commands his "people" to rape the Hittites. Loving God my laundry. Perfection? I think not.

Oh, the imperfection comes in the major contradiction that the Bible also says "God is love."

God says "Thou Shalt Not Kill" Yet Jesus tells us to kill people at his feet In Luke 19:27-28. Clearly a huge contradiction! Calculus is formed with logic and self checking proofs.

I will not respond to the lucdicrous comments made after the original question. but the the question???? Your calculus boo is not more perfect that the Bible. Can your book show you how to live. Can your book tell you how to obey the God that saves you?
YOu dont understand the Bible at all or you wouldnt make the comments you mae. KNOW it all before you diss it man.
God is perfect and He will either perfectly save you or you will be lost. see if you calculus book can change any of that. I think not.

Your error is that you are trying to compare to different things. Mathematics are universal and concrete whereas the Bible deals with faith and belief. Does that mean it is a sham? No, faith is simply believing what we cannot see. Such as a faith in gravity. Now I'm sure some of you will say "but you can prove gravity exists." Well others would argue that you could prove God existed. But most are too bull-headed to accept any argument that goes against what they themselves believe.

God loves his people but he hates sinfulness. That is the reason Jesus was sent...so that whoever believe ON him that no man or woman or child would ever again be condemned by their sins.
I also do not agree with your interpretation regarding God commanding them to rape the Hittites.

What we have in our world is perfect imperfection. Could you imagine a perfect world, where every outcome was predictable? It would be boring. Besides, it's the Yin AND the Yang, buddy. We take the bad with the good. The one defines the other.

the bible was written by men. if you're christian, you believe that it was dictated by god; however, whether you are atheist, christian, jewish, muslim, hindu, agnostic, whatever, you can't deny that it was actually written by men. so any truth in there might've been thought over and corrupted by men [well, people, but i'm pretty sure that it was mostly males that wrote down the bible].
also, spirituality is so much more ambiguous than mathematics. with religion, there are a million different ways to interpret something. with math, there's one answer [generally].
