I frequently answer math questions through IM to help others in Canada, California, and Utah. The problem is that whenever I type something like: "(x)", an emoticon pops in it's place. How do I stop this? I've already tried to change the options in Options/Messages/show emoticons. It is unchecked but the messenger still replaces the "(x)"! How do I stop this; is there a way to completely delete these emoticons? It is really frustrating when you are trying to help someone but it's extremely slow because you are fixing errors instead of just typing all of it at once. -Thanks in advance!

My battery light keeps coming on?

After driving for a little while the battery light will come on but no lights dim and the car seems fine....if you turn the car off and restart it the light is off.....we have noticed that if we drive at night and have the lights on the battery light won't come on.....is it just some freak electrical problem or something else?....it's a 1999 concorde...

On the old "PIPERS PIT"..Rowdy Roddy beat up 2 wrestlers....?

while he interviewed them. One was Jimmy Snuka, when he hit him with the coconut. Who was the only other wrestler he beat up on the set......Hint. He was a Jobber and Pipper belittled him about jobbing and getting no respect and then proceeded to beat the crap out of him?????

Isn't this what baseball is all about?

The Cleveland Indians needed a place to play since their stadium was under a foot of snow, they call up Milwaukee who has a retractable roof on Miller park and the staff rallies to put together everything in 24 hours, staffing the park, ordering food, etc. Then 19031 fans show up to support their temporary home team, many just to enjoy a game of baseball for $10 that they could not afford normally. another 16000+ showed up tonight.
I don't know how many cities in MLB would actually turn out like this to support someone else's team, the Indians commented how they almost felt at home, except for the sausage races of course. The crowd at Miller Park was larger than they were expecting at Jacobs Field.

Face 7 Skin is a name created by a woman name Maria. I believe that it originated in Auckland, New Zealand. I don't know much of the details, but i heard and keep hearing that her stuff are great. She does skincare/beauty/massage stuff. I'm from America and wanted to see if her stuff works, but i don't know if she sell internationally. My friend, who was there awhile back, said that she advertise her stuff on the radio and have flyers passed out. It's a growing business.

Can someone get fired for testifying against the boss in a lawsuit?

Employee hurt at work-another employee witnessed incident but quit after-injured told superviser, boss, owner-obvious they hurt and now boss denying that employee said anything at the time-that employee had to quit due to pain and is now suing company-since everyone (including superviser, boss, owner, employees) saw that person in obvious pain in front of superviser, boss, owner, can employees be called by the suing employee to testify against the boss that that employee was obviously in pain (sitting on box instead of chair to alleviate pain, keyboard on books to adjust height to alleviate pain). They all saw this employee do this...also makes me wonder what kind of boss we are working for if someone else gets hurt...good paying job, don't want to lose, but scared at the same time about the ethics of employer if someone else gets hurt in the future. Now have to sign "I did not get hurt, I did not witness anyone else get hurt" forms to get paycheck--blackmail/intimidation?

the square root of [x^2 - 4x + 4] dx over the intergal of 0 and 2

and...

If over the intergal of 2 and 4 f(x) dx = 6, then over the intergal of 2 and 4 (f(x)+3) dx =?

How much fat/pounds would you lose if you didn't eat anything for TWO WEEKS?

I know it's unhealthy but I just want to know how much weight you'd lose if you starved yourself for two weeks. Nothing but water, diet soda, & slim milk. Thanks
