Usually, no motorcycle license is overlooked by an officer as long as you have a license. It depends on the officer.
If you are pulled over by Rosco, and he gives you a ticket, it is no big deal. The max sentence is not used and most people know that if you can drive a car and have a license you can operate a motorcycle safely in the same conditions.
My son was pulled over on his motorcycle with no license at all. he has been racing for year but does not have a car or motorcycle license. He is old enough to have one but did not have it at the time of this incident. Anyway if was a $100 fine.
If you have your drivers license you should get your motorcycle endorsement. It is not difficult and save the hassle.

I paid the fine for operating an automobile without a license. It was cheaper (in the long run).
I was operating a motorcycle without a license (had been for years). My headlight blew out in the middle of the night in the city. A cop I didn't see saw me. I got pulled over. I got a ticket, and had to call for a ride. The judge was in a bad mood. He was also hung up on the fact that I had neglected to get my Operator's license renewed. To him, a Suzuki was one of those new cars that just came out. I could have reminded him that the fine for operating a motorcycle without a license was less than the one for a car, but I would have given him more to throw at me, too. Cheaper in the long run.
Then I got a Permit so I could take the test.
Been legal ever since (well, close enough).

You will get the ticket of course. And are you totally don't have any license? not even the vehicle license?
Just go and get the license, if you planning to ride the motorcycle for a while, just to be on the safe side. You just need to pay a fee and take the test, that all. But you need to have vehicle license.
I not sure about what you need to do when you totally don't have any license.
I got my motorcycle license last month, I just go to the Transportation Department, took the test and pay the fee. Ask the local Transportation Department for detail.
Hope this help

I don't know about Nevada but in Ohio for no motorcycle endorsement on your license the max is 6 months in jail and a $1000. fine.It doesn't matter whether you have a regular drivers license or not, it is the same as having no license.

Don't you have a license at all or just not a motorcycle license? As long as you have a license, The fine or punishment would be minor. But I would get the M/C classification if I were you. If you get busted be sure to get the classification before court.

I've seen on a couple of occasions where they hooked the bike up to a tow truck and the rider got to ride in the back of a squad car.

Get a license. It's not hard. Idiots do it all the time, so you'd probably have a chance.
