i am running windows xp sp1, but am trying to get a hold of sp2. Can anyone help me?

SP2 is free.. Microsoft doesn't charge you for updates.

If you don't see Windows Update, go to the Control Panel. Be prepared for a long process. I just did SP1 to SP2 updates on four computers plus all the other Windows updates (like Media Player 11) and even with a High-speed connection the process took several hours on each computer. The computers made 65 update changes just for SP2.
Each component downloads, verifies then installs and it's real time consuming. I hope you don't have dial-up!

Yup eitherdo the windows update or go to the microsoft.com and d/l the update and install it. It's a good thing MS dont charge for updates or we all would be broke.
