I am a distance runner, and tomorrow I will be doing the mile, the 800 m. and possibly the 4x4. The main problem is my mind. I get too stressed out. Does anyone have tips to stay relaxed?

I have employed a caregiver for my Mother for 6 years now and found her personality to be "bully-like in many areas". She always threathens to do something to me legally if I try to fire her etc. She speaks critically to me and insults me often. I put up with it because she is doing a good job with my Mother. Finally on Monday I just go so tired of it and called her daughter to speak to her about her Mother. I was in shock when I heard what she had to say.The daughter told me that the Mother speaks like that all the time . The daughter has not been in contact with the Mother in 17 years. The other daughter /her sister is like her Mother . The Mother tells lots of lies and has an aggressive /insulting /critical nature to her.
I was surprised to hear that the oldest daughter told me she would not even attend her Mother's funeral if I called her and told her to come. WOW!!
What does one do in this situation???

We are having difficulty driving rods into the dry ground as the copper coating peels off. If the purpose is to have a certain amount of contact with damp soil is it feasible to lay the rods in trenches 18 inches under the ground where they have more chance of encountering damp soil along their entire length. These rods are to earth six station decoder boxes on a country golf course and their main purpouse is to protect against possible lightning strike.

Someone told me that you have to graduate from the academy to fly a fighter jet in the air force. I thought that everyone from rotc and the academy went to undergrad pilot training and then the top pilots from there got first choice at the plane they fly.

I have a 1996 Chevy c -1500 silverado 5.0 V8 2wd. When I put it into reverse, it shifts into reverse just fine, but as I back up, it sounds like it's grinding somewhere in the front. What could be the problem? It has 132,000 miles on it and it has a trailer hitch. I hope the previous owner didn't pull something too heavy.

i bought a male guinea pig from an owner who could not keep it anymore, because of her moving to a new apt. by then, she only had 1 baby left, so i could not buy any brothers/sisters along with him. i read about guinea pigs, and i know that they are social creatures. I want to get him a friend, and I'm also gonna get a new cage, so they can gradually get used to each other, and I'll introduce them to each other slowly. However, i am afraid that even when they are slowly introduced, they will still fight. I'm especially scared if this happens when I'm not at home (i'm a college student). should I get my guinea a male friend and keep them in separate cages? or should I get it a female and keep that in a separate cage as well (i don't want to breed)? i really don't want my little guy to get hurt, but I do want him to have a friend that he can talk to when I'm not around. please help!

I believe it was on the history channel about how they have always predectied when something bad is going to happen? cant reall explain it cause a tyleneol PM left me fighting sleep and sleep won. but any way they have that huge pyramid thing that was like a calender...does any one know where i can find that info? the program was good and i would like to have all of the facts.. not these holes.

My sister went into the army about a year and a half ago went thru boot camp and now she is in school but she screwed up she met this guy after two months married him she has been calling me everyday for money and i have two kids and a husband we both work really hard to make ends meet but because i love her each time i sent her the money well last night she calls and said that the army kicked her out on the street and she needs money to get to her in laws house so like a good sister i send her some more she told me that this will probably be the last time i talk to her for a while my aunt told me the other day that the army called her and told her that she went a wall and has been for about two months well my question is what should i do should i tell the army where she is please help me i am lost
