If every month each ovary has multiple follicles that are "semi-maturing" but not fully to ovulate, doesn't it seem like every month you are wasting tons of eggs?? Only serious answers please.. It just makes sense to me, if every month you have 10-15 follicles on an ovary, then you are going to waste them all and go through menopause quicker??

mean to gays or bisexual people. i am straight and i don't see why people say oh your going to hell or your a sin. im 14 basically and i get it. i'm a straight guy, but i have no problem with anyone. i jsut do not get it one of my friends is a lesbian & another bi, and i love them, both are so nice, i don't understand why. i just get so upset when i hear gay teen committed suicide today and its so upsetting. i literally feel there pain. it just hurts to see someone that hurt go so fast. all my guy friends are mean to gays and bis but i just stick up for them and say whats wrong with them? there isnt anything wrong with those people just as there is nothing wrong with blacks or bhuddists etc.

i am sorry for taking up your time, but anyone feel the same as i do?

I want a revolution just as much as anybody, however, I think now is not the time to test the waters of our country. We seriously cannot allow another Republican into office. We finally gained control of Congress now we just need a democratic president in order to get things done.

I don't believe the public is ready for a black or female president. We can't lose this time around. The stakes are too high to hope that the voters will vote for a women or a minority president. People are too racist and sexist.

Imagine hearing Don Imus comments, "We have a nappy headed person on one hand, and a ho on the other!"
I can hear the PMS jokes now.

I hope the public will pick the best person for the job, but as we have failed to do so in the recent past, I don't think they will.

My daughter will be in Los Angeles (Burbank) next fall doing internships for college. She may need to travel from Burbank to some of the locations of the firms. Culver City, Studio City, Santa Monica, etc. We live in New York. She wants to bring her car (a cross country drive!) because she is told that the LA buses and trains are horribly unreliable.

I have been trying to lose weight and was told that I should replace as many carbs as I can with vegetables. I have been eating a lot of canned green beans since they are cheap and easy to prepare but are they really as good for me as I think they are. Since they are canned does that add a ton of calories, salt and preservatives? I am living abroad so the nutrition facts are not on cans here like they are in the USA.

I work in a sensitive environment. I take great pride & respect for my job. A co-worker I was just getting to know (due to our age being in the same age group amongst older more familiar to themselves coworkers) was seemingly involved in a ruthless incident. Due to my association with this coworker, I was also branded as a wrong-doer, even though I was nor ever could be implicted due to my total innocence and lack of any insight as to what my co-worker was upto. This whole episode has left me down-trodden and also i feel betrayed that a co-worker could have done or even think such a thing..How do i start to rebuild my image to my superiors and co-workers at large? And how do i even start to feel better inside? How do i let the world know i am totally innocent & clueless, without comming off seeming defensive, dwelling & insistent on the sensitive subject?

Our little girl is 6 years old, and plays with the boy across the street, but he has been increasingly mean(pushing etc.) and nasty(name calling). We never leave her unattended outside, so we see this, and call an end to thier play. Then another day they will play great. Our daughter really likes this kid(which we always say a friend doesn't call names or hurt you) and we like the parents, but obviously our main concern is to our child, and we don't want her to play with him anymore. How do we do this diplomatically? I don't want to ruffle any feathers, but we cannot have our child bullied in her own yard! Need some advice how to handle, and how to be firm but fair and consider others feelings.
